Ernest Beatwell – Born Dunton -Royal Marine Artillery – Gunner – RMA/14398 (Po) – Killed as a direct result of enemy action at sea (HMS Invincible) 31st may 1916 age 21 – Son of George and Emma Beatwell, Stock Road, West Hanningfield and brother of Arthur above – 1914 Star, Victory and British War Medals – Portsmouth Naval memorial.

Edward Alfred Dove – Born Dunton -34th Australian Infantry AIF – Private – 3250 -Died 10th May 1918 age 43 – Cemetery, Brookwood Military, England – Son of Ezekiel and Jane Dove and husband of May Dove, Southampton Road, Farnham, Hants.

Charles Ellis -  12th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment – Private – 11053 – Died of wounds 27th November 1918 age 28 – Cemetery, Moorseele Military, Belgium – Son of Edwin and Mary Ann Ellis – 1914/15 Star, Victory and British War Medals.
