Laindon cum Basildon Parish Magazine June 1938

By Eric Pasco

This was recently passed onto me following the passing of my Dad's sister, Amy Crabb (Pasco).  Of particular interest to me was that it listed my grandfather's funeral at St. Nicholas Church and other names may be familiar to other readers.

I also found the adverts of interest as many were still around into the late 50's and 60's.

I too have a similar publication which although undated, I guess comes from around the same time. Called the Laindon Advertiser (believed to be January 1928), it is priced at 1d. Adverts show businesses as having 2 digit telephone numbers and there are some interesting articles in it.

If I were more educated in the methodology of modern electronics I would like to photograph it and share it with all who may be interested as I imagine many would be. If anyone can explain to me what I need to do I and possibly many others would be grateful. P.S. If it helps I am using an iPad.
